Is Theatre Criticism Disappearing?

What is the function of criticism in the current social sphere and how should we approach its position of power(lessness) within the cross-section of time? Within the current limited dimensions of the field of reflection, does criticism still have the possibility to approach in an argumentative way the cultural and artistic phenomena it deals with? In a discussion guided by the thematic issue of the Dialogues magazine Criticism, the guests will discuss the position of current theatre criticism and its gradually shrinking space, but also new spaces of emergence. Can we talk about the disappearance of criticism or perhaps (just) about its transformation, if not its rebirth?
